Short answers grounded in Steam, GOG, and official re-release statements (checked 2026-11-07).

It is a turn-based Dungeons & Dragons computer RPG originally released in 2001, set around the ruins of Myth Drannor. The November 2026 Steam and GOG release is a remastered port of that same game, not a ground-up remake.
The re-release launched on 2026-11-06 on Steam (App 4834760) and GOG. The US launch price listed on Steam was $19.99 at the time we checked (2026-11-07).
The remaster is Windows-only per the Steam store page (Windows 10/11, 64-bit). GOG also sells a DRM-free build with overlapping features but different listed storage and RAM minimums.
You create four characters at the start and can add up to two companions during the campaign for a six-member party. Each single class caps at level 16 in the ruleset described on the store pages and classic FAQs.
Legacy Mode is an optional setting in the remaster that keeps the original gameplay and presentation while still allowing you to toggle individual quality-of-life enhancements such as the action bar, tooltips, or controller support.
